CRC Elects Board of Directors
We are pleased to announce the election of our first Board of Directors for the Cuchara Recreation Cooperative, voted in a meeting held on Saturday, August 2, 2008. Elected President of the Board was Cuchara resident Steve Perkins, Janet Richardson of Pueblo was elected Secretary and Gerald Van Nort of Cuchara elected Treasurer. An estimated 1800 surveys were distributed over the 4th of July weekend in Cuchara and La Veta and many of those have already come back. YOU STILL HAVE TIME TO MAKE YOUR VOICE HEARD! Summer's Here and The Livin' is Easy...
Summer visitors are already making their mark on Cuchara beginning with the Memorial Day Holiday. The aspens are producing green leaves and although it snowed on May 29th, summer is in full swing.
